Lucy Anne Parker explains the importance of CAIR to the media


Lucy Anne Parker, investigadora principal CAIR, en su despacho en el campus de Sant Joan d'Alacant de la UMH.

In order to raise awareness about the project among the population, Luccy Anne Parker has appeared in several media outlets.

In an interview with Diario Información, CAIR’s Principal Investigator stressed the importance of community participation in the creation of population health policies.

«If we promote from the community, the burden on primary care can be alleviated. […] The University is no longer the only one that provides experts. Everyone brings their experience and knowledge to study what to do together. […] We need people to reflect and becoming co-researchers to tell us what needs to be done. […] The idea is to respect the importance of evidence that comes people’s own context.»

The granting of European funding to carry out the project has also had an impact in media such as Cadena Ser, Onda Cero or Alicante Plaza.
