On February 18th, Lucy Anne Parker, principal investigator at CAIR, participated in the 20th anniversary of the CIC bioGUNE, which was held at the Euskadi Technology Park. Within the cycle Challenges of Science from the Perspective of the New Generations, there was a debate about the barriers science, and specifically Public Health, faces at reaching the community and how co-creation can help in this subject.

Lucy explained how the cornerstone of CAIR is to use co-creation so all social actors can launch initiatives that really help improve people’s health.

«We use the co-creation of community initiatives to address health problems. We bring together researchers, universities, government and people. […] We design interventions that are more effective because they consider the reality of their context.».
